About the author

John Luton lives in northeastern North Carolina with his wife, Cheryl, and their dog, Buddy. They have three grown children and nine grandchildren. When he’s not writing, John enjoys traveling and gardening. John has written four novels: Bluebird in Belgium, Carolina Sugar Cane, A Kiss Withheld, and The Child of My Dreams.

Before retiring, John taught mass communication and world literature in the University of North Carolina system. He now teaches for the University of Maryland Global Campus and volunteers as a Literacy researcher for Our Daily Bread Ministries.
